After graduating from Phillips Academy Andover, Cameron earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design while simultaneously taking economics courses at Brown University. He later completed his Master of Science in Real Estate Development at Columbia University, enhancing his credentials with certificates in Alternative Investments from Harvard University and Hotel Investments from Cornell University.
